Hulsey Mrs. Lula R. Hulsey, 73, Fort Sill, Okla., died Friday at 8:15 a.m. in Fort Sill following a long illness. A native of Winston County, Mrs. Hulsey had been a resident of Etowah County mot of her life. She had resided in Oklahoma since June, and was a member of the Red Hill Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. H. C. Harper and Mrs. S. E. Smith, both of Gadsden; one son, Sgt. Mjr. Walter C. Hulsey, Fort Sill; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Minnie Battles, Pinson, Mrs. J. C. Amick, Houston, and Mrs. Bill Williams, Elkhart, Ind; two brothers, L. B. Battles, Pinson and T. O. Battles, Houston, Tex. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Red Hill Methodist church, with the Rev. Richard L. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Morton’s Chapel Cemetery, with Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers will be Reno Addision, Charle Metzcus, Vurlin Amick, Carl Wright, F. M. Addison and Claude Harris. The body will remain at Collier-Butler until the hour of service. Additional Comments: Submitter not related.
