 TENNIS ANYONE?
The scene of a group of young blades and their ladies was made probably in the 
1890's when a tennis court was located on the site now occupied by the LE. 
Wells home on Eufaula Street. The four with tennis rackets are from left, Emma 
Carroll Espy, Bart Thomas, Pollie Smith Crawford, and J.E.Z. Riley. Those 
seated are from left, unidentified, Roscoe Chalker, Lena Dowling, unidentified. 
Hart Dowlfng, Rena Edwards Cox, Mallie Casey Helms, unidentified, Cliff Cox, 
and Ruth Chalker Dowling.
