Death of Robert C. Stewart
	Robert C. Stewart died on Tuesday at the home of his father, Mr. A.M. 
Stewart, two miles from town, aged twenty eight years.
	Mr. Stewart was a railroad man for a number of years, running on some 
of the principal roads of the state and the disease of which he died probably 
resulted from exposure in his vocation.
	Something like a year ago he returned to his father’s home with the 
seeds of consumption planted in his system, and thence forward was a constant 
sufferer until death brought relief.
	He was buried at Carmel on Thursday, with funeral obsequies conducted 
by Rev. P.H. Brewster, of the Methodist church.
	Mr. Stewart was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.
	His brother, Armstrong, it will be remembered, who was also a railroad 
man, was murdered at Gadsden some two years ago.
	The bereaved family have the sincerest condolence of the entire 
community.
