Taxi Owner Dies Suddenly Thursday

Ariel Clark Wood, 49, owner of Wood's Taxi Service,
died suddenly last Thursday, February 3, 1949.

Mr. Wood came to Foley several years ago from
Brewton, Ala., and has since been in the taxicab
business here.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby Wood, two
daughters, Barbara and Betsy, and two sons,
Donald and James.

Funeral services were held at Foley Mortuary
February 5, 1949, at 3:00 PM, with burial in
Breton, Ala.

Rev. C. E. Avinger officiated at the services
in Foley.
